A dog trainer primarily teaches commands and basic obedience. A dog behaviourist works on problem behaviours with a deeper understanding (fear, anxiety, aggression). For complex problems, a behaviourist is preferable.
From 8 weeks — as soon as the puppy arrives home. Early imprinting sessions are gentle, play-based and brief (5–10 minutes max), but crucial for developing a balanced dog.
